Há duas semanas da estreia, a Disney e a Marvel multiplicaram a divulgação de “Shang Chi e a Lenda dos Dez Anéis”, que ganhou mais fotos, pôsteres e vídeos. A impressão é que o marketing da corporação finalmente percebeu que o calendário ficou curto. Até então, o filme mal tinha fotos oficiais.
A première mundial está marcada para esta segunda-feira (16/8) em Los Angeles, quando começarão a surgir os primeiros comentários sobre a produção. Geralmente, logo após as primeiras sessões abertas à imprensa, blogueiros geeks ocupam o espaço da crítica com elogios rasgados nas redes sociais.
Mas há muita curiosidade para ver como os geeks vão reagir ao filme, pois a adaptação do personagem antigamente chamado de Mestre do Kung Fu é a produção do Marvel Studios que mais se distancia dos quadrinhos originais. E não apenas na troca do vilão Fu Manchu pelo Mandarim, mas até na abordagem de gênero. As primeiras histórias do personagem eram inspiradas pelo clima de espionagem de “Operação Dragão” e dos filmes de “007”, porém os trailers da adaptação cinematográfica sugerem que sua maior influência é o game “Mortal Kombat”.
O roteiro foi escrito por Dave Callaham (“Mortal Kombat”), a direção é de Destin Daniel Cretton (“Luta por Justiça”) e a estreia está marcada para 2 de setembro no Brasil, um dia antes do lançamento nos EUA. Somente nos cinemas.
