Critics Choice: The Crown e Ozark lideram indicações ao prêmio da crítica dos EUA

O Critics Choice Awards 2021 divulgou a lista dos indicados à sua premiação televisiva. E duas atrações da Netflix, “The Crown” e “Ozark”, destacaram-se com o maior número de indicações – seis cada.

Graças à preferência pelas duas produções, a premiação dos críticos norte-americanos registrou uma vantagem da Netflix sobre a HBO (representada por séries como “Lovecraft Country” e “The Undoing”), ainda que a diferença tenha sido apertada: 26 indicações da Netflix contra 24 da HBO.

Há pelo menos 20 anos, a HBO tem se saído vencedora de todas as premiações televisivas dos EUA. Mas, neste ano, a competição também vem de outros canais pagos, especialmente da FX, com 14 nomeações.

Série mais lembrada da HBO, “Lovecraft Country” teve as mesmas cinco indicações que a minissérie “Mrs. America” (FX) e as comédia “Schitt’s Creek” (Pop) e “What We Do In The Shadows” (FX).

Assim como o Globo de Ouro, o Critics Choice também premia os melhores do cinema. Mas os indicados das categorias de cinema só serão revelados em 7 de fevereiro.

A cerimônia de premiação deste ano vai acontecer de forma híbrida, como o Emmy passado, e está marcada para o dia 7 de março.
