O Sindicato dos Diretores de Hollywood (DGA em inglês) divulgou a lista dos indicados a sua premiação anual, DGA Awards. E desta vez apenas cineastas homens receberam indicações ao prêmio principal, de Melhor Direção em Longa-Metragem.
Os indicados foram Todd Field (por “Tár”), Joseph Kosinski (“Top Gun: Maverick”), Martin McDonagh (“Os Banshees de Inisherin”), Steven Spielberg (“Os Fabelmans”) e a dupla Daniel Kwan & Daniel Scheinert (“Tudo Em Todo Lugar Ao Mesmo Tempo”).
Geralmente, os indicados do DGA antecipam a lista de concorrentes ao Oscar da categoria.
Num contraste gritante, o prêmio de Melhor Estreia na Direção foi quase todo dominado por mulheres: Alice Diop (“Saint Omer”), Audrey Diwan (“O Acontecimento”), Antoneta Alamat Kusijanovic (“Murina”), Charlotte Wells (“Aftersun”) e John Patton Ford (“Emily the Criminal”) – o único homem indicado na categoria.
Os prêmios televisivos foram um pouquinho mais diversificados, com duas indicações femininas: Aoife McArdle (“Ruptura”) na categoria de Melhor Direção em Série de Drama e Amy Sherman-Palladino (“Maravilhosa Sra. Maisel”) em Melhor Direção em Série de Comédia.
A competição de série dramática ainda conta com Jason Bateman (“Ozark”), Vince Gilligan (“Better Call Saul”), Sam Levinson (“Euphoria”) e Ben Stiller (“Ruptura”). E o prêmio de comédia inclui na disputa Tim Burton (“Wandinha”), Bill Hader (“Barry”), Christopher Storer (“O Urso”) e Mike White (“The White Lotus”).
A cerimônia da 75ª edição do DGA Awards vai acontecer em 18 de fevereiro, no Beverly Hilton Hotel, em Los Angeles. Confira abaixo a lista completa dos indicados.
